New School Year

We can all see the school bus stop to pick up and drop off the kids. There is now homework and spelling tests. New friends and old, we all know this is a new year for everyone with kids or who work in the school systems.

I am an employee of our local schools and to watch these kids come back, meeting new kids and making new friends is a joy. So for me I get up and have my coffee and bagel, bad habits hard to break, and then off to school I go.

This school year I want to help as many students as I can. Even though I don't get to be in the classroom, I want to make sure that the kids know that we care about them and want to take care of them as far as we can.

So let's make this a good year for our kids. Fight back on the bullying, help with the homework, and make sure you and others praise the kids for accomplishments and keep from making them feel worthless if they don't have great grades. All kids learn at their own pace. Let this school year be a great year.

Committing to more blog posts and more YouTube uploads

I feel that since the new school year has started and I am currently working and not at uni, I decided I would commit to one new video uploaded on YouTube a week and at least two blog posts a week. There has not been a day I have found comfortable to commit to. Just know that there will be a blog post twice a week and a new video once a week.
